With spot prices dropping below $20.00 lots of people are looking for websites to purchase online. Here is a list of websites that are popular with silver stackers. Of course these sites are not limited to silver. Many carry a variety of precious metals such as gold, platinum, palladium, copper and even diamonds! So what ever your in the mood for, you can find it.

The US Mint is releasing a new set and the price is a bit of a discussion on Facebook. I guess number of sales will show if the premium was too high or not. 

Silver Eagles! Premiums to high?

Is it just me or is it impossible to find any Silver Eagles with low premiums out there? I see lot of shipping delays from all the online shops. I called my two local coins shops, no Silver Eagles available and no 90%. Yikes! Anyone have good suggestions on where to score some good deals on 1oz rounds or coins?

YouTube Prize Haul !

The Dip!

This last week was either an exciting time or not so happy time for silver stacker's. We saw a major dip with silver. Lots of people took advantage of the dip and ran out to pick up as much as they could get their hand on! In my local area, all the of local coin shops are out of everything!! Or maybe they are just not wanting to sell at such a low price and waiting for the silver spot price to bounce back up? The lowest I saw it at was around $26.16 an ounce. I was glued to my phone app all week! Not to worry though if you have invested a lot in silver, the spot price seems to be creeping back closer to $27.45 an ounce today. Did you run out to pick up some silver this past week? 

2012 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set

The U.S. Mint has this wonderful silver proof set and it is on my wish list! Looks like this set has a limited mintage of  50,000. A very popular pick with coin collectors. YouTube already has a few videos with folks sharing their set. The Limited Edition set comes with 1/ American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin, 5/ Quarters from the America The Beautiful Quarters Program, 1 Kennedy half-dollar and 1/ Roosevelt dime. So eight pieces total. What I like about this set is the over all  look of the packaging and the case it all comes in.
